Feature Friday: Pimp your biscuit

All over the interwebs I have seen this Pimp your biscuit craze pop up. I googled them to death and asked them to send me a Media Release and some images to see what they have to offer and if it is something I will do with my girls.

Here is what the friendly people over at Pimp your Biscuit had to say:

“Pimp your biscuit is a fun, experiential activity station at the V&A Waterfront Market on the Wharf, where children can enjoy all the creativity of making and decorating their own delicious biscuits without mom and dad having to worry about the mess. Pimp your biscuit was opened in December 2012 by Cape Town business personality Tamara Aeschliman and is a safe hub of exciting activity for little ones to be creative and have yummy treats to take home for their efforts.

Children can choose from the 5 tasty cookie dough flavours available from cut & bake; oatmeal and raisin, choc chunk, peanut butter, ginger spice and shortbread. Kids of all ages can then mould, shape and decorate to their hearts content with a choice of 3 toppings from a wide variety on offer.

The decorated cookie dough is baked and ready to enjoy hot out of the oven in just 8 minutes. For those who don’t have time to stay and enjoy the baking activities, freshly baked biscuits can be purchased on site, as well as 2.5kg buckets of scoop & bake cookie dough and any of the desired accessories and toppings, which will ensure hours of baking and decorating fun at home. www.cutandbake.co.za  ”

I have decided that I’m taking my girls at this weekend to have some baking fun.
